I would like to tell you what a wonderful vacation we enjoyed in your parks.
we visited six parks in our four week trip to Vancouver Island. We drove up from southern California to car camp, hike and explore. We spent two nights at French Beach and met the young man who seems to do everything there, from take fees to collect trash and recycling (didn't get his name). He was very friendly and helpful. We then moved to China Beach for three nights and met Nick, the host. A delightful man. good fun to talk to. Very informative.
Next we moved to Gordon Bay for one night. It was full and so we enjoyed a hot shower and moved on to Englishman River Falls park for two nights. The man who lives there year round was a great source of information and very friendly. Then it was on to Strathcona and the Ralph River campground.
This was the best experience in our stay. It was also our only trouble spot. The battery in my one year old Toyota pickup died there! Norm and Jill came to our rescue, gave us a jump start and loaned us a battery for the remainder of our stay there. I can't say enough about those two. They were great, and a credit to your organization.
Last we visited Stamp River Falls campground and met George. A very helpful and informative man. Sadly, we then had to head back home. We want to thank you for a great experience.
Your parks are very clean, well run and user friendly.
