About the Park
An easy walking trail of 11 km weaves through the park along Holden Lake. The trail takes you through a mature coastal Douglas Fir forest, interspersed with red alder and bi-leaf maple and through to marsh lands that are equipped with a viewing platform. These ecosystems are perfect opportunities for bird watching. Look for trumpeter swans, eagles, and turkey vultures. Keep an eye out for the beavers and deer that inhabit the park. Holden Lake provides excellent opportunities for paddlers, boaters and anglers
